Looking for an opportunity to use your demonstrated videographer skills to evolve with an established online media outlet?

MotoManTV is looking for a videographer to help grow our two long running YouTube series by lending your skills in camera operation and editing.

In this role, yes, you will:

• Shoot video locally
• Edit social content
• Travel out of town for on location shoots

What is unique about this role?

• An opportunity to work on quality content on a consistent basis
• Work together with the Producer & Post Production Manager to find efficiencies and improve the quality of completed episodes & podcasts for our viewers

OK, so what would be your day to day responsibilities?

• Of course, prep and operate the camera
• Edit in both a supervised and unsupervised capacity
• Create a work flow and produce short form content with an eye to optimize for the disparate needs of social media platforms
• Create, produce & evolve Vertical Video, ‘Clips’ from existing content & podcast episodes
• Create thumbnails that work using our existing style guidelines and help evolve it

We’re looking for you to bring the following to the table:

• 3-5 years of camera operator experience
• 3-5 years of professional video editing experience
• Strong working knowledge of the Sony Cinema line of cameras (FX-3, FX-30, etc.)
• Strong working knowledge of the DJI Ronin RS4
• 3-5 years of working with on set director a major plus
• Demonstrated experience in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Experience working at the pace of YouTube and the podcasting world
• Previous experience working with cars is a huge advantage
• The ability to drive a manual transmission
• Have a CLEAN valid drivers' license

• SUPER IMPORTANT: Complete understanding of the discipline and work ethic required to be successful in the YouTube/Entertainment/Production/Post Production worlds: To put it mildly, the satisfaction of success is off the charts but it is not for the faint of heart
• Understanding the value of thorough communication and when to call vs. text vs. email
• Turn downtime into an opportunity to go above and beyond to find shots that may or may not work, experiment!
• Thrive on the speed at which the online video world works
• Welcome the adventure and challenge that is travel as required
• Come to us with a strong understanding of proper framing and lighting
• Know at times, schedules must be flexible
• An attitude that shines in one on one as well as in high profile corporate environments
